Beadhead Girdle Bug

The Beadhead Girdle Bug is a type of fishing fly commonly used by anglers for trout fishing. It is an artificial fly pattern that imitates various aquatic insects and nymphs. The fly is designed to mimic stonefly nymphs, which are a common food source for trout in rivers and streams.The fly typically features a heavy, dark-colored body made of chenille and silicone legs  giving it a lifelike profile.
It is a killer in rivers with stonefly populations. When fishing with a BH Girdle Bug, anglers typically use a technique called nymphing. This involves casting the fly upstream and allowing it to drift naturally with the current, mimicking the movement of a nymph in the water.
