Rubber Legged Nymph

The Rubber Legged Nymph is a variation of the classic Prince Nymph and a proven classic fly that continues to be an effective fly in most trout waters around the world. Made with a flashy peacock herl body, it entices strikes.
It is a variation of the classic Prince Nymph and incorporates rubber legs to add lifelike movement and attraction.
The split tail and wing give the impression of a backswimmer, dark mayfly or stonefly nymph.
Although the fly may not imitate any particular trout food, it just looks like something yummy for the fish. It is a good idea to have a number of different sizes  in the fly box.
